The Uptown Band featuring Erich Cawalla & Jenifer Kinder is one of the country's most exciting acts. As excellent performers and recording artists, their shows truly have something for everybody's tastes because of the huge variety of both cover and original songs in their song list.
Erich Cawalla is a multi-instrumentalist and lead vocalist who has performed in the bands of Marie Osmond and The Skyliners, as well as opening up for Martha & The Vandellas, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, and Sonny Turner. Singing sensation Jenifer Kinder is one of the Northeast's most sought-after female vocalists. She has opened for Joe Nichols, David Ball, and Mark Wills.
Some of the band's more notable performances include opening up for a sold-out Luhrs Performing Arts Center in Shippensburg, PA for Comedian Jeff Dunham, as well as being one of only three acts chosen to perform at the Harrisburg Capitol Building's Centennial Celebration. They have also performed at private parties for Tom and Michelle Ridge and former NFL Executive/Superbowl winner Matt Millen. The band has become a favorite at some of the Northeast's biggest fairs and festivals. Selected songs off of their debut CD "Waiting for Her" are receiving radio airplay throughout the world.
