Terry Gehman,
President
Terry Gehman started
playing professionally at age 14. After high school, he continued performing on
weekends and summers while attending Lebanon Valley College, where he received a
B.S. degree in Music Education in 1969. He became a band director in the
Conestoga Valley School District in Lancaster, PA. After completing graduate
work at West Chester University, he toured the summer fair circuit as a
performer, also acting as booking agent, manager, road manager, and publicity
agent. In 1993, he retired from performing after 32 years, but continued
teaching school music until 2002 when he retired from a rewarding career of 33
years. He now devotes all of his time to Anjoli Productions, the company he
founded in 1983. His knowledge of the entertainment industry from the touring
performer's perspective has given him an edge over many talent producers in that
he knows what performers need when they get off of the tour bus. He has
experienced both sides of the business.
Terry takes great pride
in the fact that artists speak very highly of Anjoli Productions'
shows. They know that there will be no surprises on show day and that
everything that is needed will be there. Terry loves to see a good show
where the audience is entertained and the artist has a good time. His
number one goal is to leave the event with a satisfied audience, a smiling
client, and a happy artist.
Terry is a member of the
Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, the American Federation
of Musicians, the International Entertainment Buyers Association, and several
State Fair Associations. He is also a member of the Music Educators National
Conference, PA Music Educators Association, National Education Association, PA
State Education Association, Masonic Lodge, Shriners, and various community
organizations. His hobbies include traveling, motorhoming, and surfing the
net.
