Entertaining audiences since 2002, The Last Big Band is a 17-piece, multi-generational ensemble featuring players from Berks County, the Lehigh Valley and SE Pennsylvania. Members include alumni of West Chester University’s famed Criterion’s Jazz Ensemble, in addition to Lebanon Valley College, Millersville, Kutztown, UArts, Shippensburg and Temple Universities, and US Military service bands. The Band’s repertoire spans classics from the Swing Era through progressive styles of the last 50 years, as well as arrangements and compositions penned by former and current members. The LBB has performed at festivals, jazz clubs, ballrooms and private celebrations throughout the region, appearing regularly at the annual Berks Jazz Fest, and currently swings monthly at Rivet Canteen & Assembly in Pottstown.
